In keeping with a past tradition, Caldwell County and Crittenden County High Schools have come together to once again honor a person suffering from a life-altering condition or disease.
The schools have teamed to sell “Barnes Strong” T-shirts that honor Caldwell County football coach David Barnes, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease over the summer.
You can show your support for Coach Barnes and his family by purchasing a “Barnes Strong” T-shirt. Costs are $10 for youth and adult shirts; $11 for 2 XL; $12 for 3XL; and $13 for 4XL. All of the proceeds will go to the National Parkinson’s Foundation. You can contact Jill Choate or Kim Farmer (270-625-0516) at Caldwell County High School for more information. The deadline to purchase a shirt is Friday.
Caldwell County will travel to Crittenden County for their annual contest September 8.
