Contests against an ACC school and an SEC school highlight the Murray State University women’s basketball schedule for the upcoming season. The schedule, which was released Monday morning, features 14 games at the CFSB Center.
MSU plays an ACC road contest at national power Louisville the day after Thanksgiving. While the Racers’ final non-conference game of the season will be played at Alabama December 20. MSU will also have four non-conference contests at the CFSB Center as Butler comes to town November 11, Lipscomb November 18, East Tennessee State plays at “The Bank” November 29 while Bethel comes calling December 14.
The Racers’ conference opener will be played December 28 against Eastern Illinois and will be the first of four consecutive home games to begin OVC play in 2017-18. New to this season will be an 18-game OVC schedule. MSU will play a home-and-home this season against Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Jacksonville State, SIU Edwardsville, Southeast Missouri, Tennessee Tech and UT Martin. While single game contests will be at Tennessee State (Jan. 18) and Belmont (Jan. 20) and at home for Morehead (Jan 25) and Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 27).
The OVC Tournament will begin February 28 and be held in Evansville, at the Ford Center.
