YourSportsEdge.com’s fourth ranked Caldwell County girls’ soccer team(2-2) traveled to Henderson to take on the top ranked Lady Colonels (3-0) on Tuesday night. Junior forward Maddie Griggs got Henderson off to a good start, scoring two first half goals to help the Lady Colonels to a 3-0 halftime lead. Henderson would tack on two more goals in the second half for a comfortable 5-0 win.
The Lady Tigers play next August 26th when they welcome the Apollo E-gals (1-1) to Butler Stadium. Henderson will put its perfect record on the line August 24th when it crosses state lines to face Evansville Reitz (Evansville) IN.
