Senior forward Mitchell Scott stayed hot, scoring his ninth goal in three games, as the Caldwell County boys’ soccer team tied 1-1 with Paducah Tilghman. Coach Alan Shaffer said his defense did a much better job sticking to their assignments, but feels there’s still work to do in maintaining possession.
Caldwell (1-1-1) last beat the Blue Tornado (0-1-1) in 2010. Next up for the Tigers is a home contest with the UHA Blazers (1-1) in an All “A” contest Saturday at 2pm at Butler Stadium.
