In the first ever meeting between the Henderson County and Trigg County girls’ soccer teams, the Lady Colonels ran out to an 11-1 win. Junior forward Maddie Griggs led the Lady Colonels with five goals. Senior Libby Redd scored the Trigg goal on a penalty kick toward the end of the first half.
The Lady Wildcats were forced to play without the services of junior goalkeeper Julia Rhone and freshman forward Emily Noffsinger due to injuries, and senior midfielder Alyssa Richardson was forced off with an injury as well.
The Lady Wildcats return home to the Recreation Complex on August 22nd when they host the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers.
