Mindy Hargrove has a young volleyball team at Fort Campbell that she hopes matures throughout the season and gains confidence in a wide-open Eighth District.
The Lady Falcons dropped their season opener with Northwest, TN in five sets Monday on post 17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 27-29, 15-9. Fort Campbell was 2-2 in five set matches last year on their way to a 9-24 record.
Fort Campbell, which only has one senior on their roster, will host Madisonville Tuesday.
