Princeton golfer Emma Talley finished tied for 66th Sunday at the Symetra Tour stop in Milwaukee. Talley hovered around par all weekend, starting with a two-under 70 on Friday but shot 75 and 74 the last two rounds to finish at 3-over par.
Talley had four bogeys and two birdies in her final round to finish at two-over par. Canada’s Brittany Marchand won the tournament with a score of 13-under.
Talley added just $306 in winnings over the weekend but still remains seventh on the Symetra Tour money list with $48,654. She is just under $3,000 out of sixth place but stays almost $6,000 ahead of Kendall Dye, who is in tenth place. The top 10 money winners at season’s end automatically receive their LPGA tour card for 2018.
Talley gets some much-needed rest over the next few weeks until her next tournament Aug. 31-Sept. 3 in Sioux Falls, SD. There are just five tournaments heading into the season-ending Symetra Tour Championship in October in Daytona Beach, Florida.
