Most athletes can remember certain milestones in their high school careers. First home run. First time they led their team in scoring. First touchdown. First multi-goal soccer game, and so on.
For 12 year-old Rheagan Lindsey, she reached a personal milestone in the first big match of the season Monday. The UHA middle schooler shot a 96 in the Christian County Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course and in doing so, played 18 holes of golf without breaking 100. Not bad for a golfer who sometimes has to tip-toe to read the tops of her clubs while they sit in the bag stand. But don’t let her diminutive stature fool you. She has goals and knows what she wants to get accomplished on the course this year. Watch what she wants to do next.
