Former Trigg County football coach Curtis Higgins was inducted Sunday into the Greater Louisville Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Higgins, who currently serves as an assistant coach at Hopkinsville High, was a head coach at Oldham County and Trigg County, where he had a record of 69-26 in eight seasons as head coach.
He last served as a head coach at Fern Creek High School. Higgins also served as an assistant coach at Waggener and later at Male under Bob Redman, winning a Class 4A state title.
