Monty Todd has resigned as head softball coach at Lyon County after three successful seasons. Todd told the Sports Edge of his decision Wednesday morning but did not offer any details. Todd compiled a record of 69-32 in three seasons as head coach of the Lady Lyons, which included consecutive Fifth District titles in 2016 and 2017 and an All-A Classic region title in 2016.
The Lady Lyons were 22-12 this past season and lost to Webster County in the first round of the Second Region Tournament.
